Despite our best efforts to reach a fair collective agreement, negotiations remain in an impasse.
As no agreement was reached with the employer, the ATPUO is officially calling a strike beginning at midnight on Saturday, November 7, 2026.
This is a pivotal moment for our Association. Together, we will stand up for our working conditions, our rights, and the quality of education at uOttawa.
Effective immediately, we ask that you cease all work related to your teaching contracts.
Please also suspend all communication with your departments and faculties. Do not submit any grades or return any exams.
