Management and Administration of a Deferred (Final or Mid-Term) Exam or Assignment

Members must obtain prior approval from the competent authorities in order to proceed with the deferred exam or assignment.

Usually, it is the academic units or faculties that communicate information to members about deferrals. Therefore, upon receipt of a deferral request sent to members, the competent authorities have already given their approval.

Creation of a New Exam

You can get an additional $150 for creating a new exam.

The formalities for receiving compensation are as follows:

  1. Obtain prior written approval from the competent authority in your department ;
  2. The new examination must be substantially different from the one already taken by the group or class;
  3. The new examination must be worth at least twenty-five per cent (25%) of the final mark;
