Happy New Academic Year 2025-2026

We hope your Spring/Summer Term did not go by too fast. With the new academic year starting, we are eager to continue working with you!

Here’s what to anticipate for the Fall 2025 term:

(1) The challenges with Workday persist, and our team is actively working to uphold our working conditions as this grievance continues.

(2) We’re excited to announce Laly will be joining us as our new Labour Relations Officer, offering crucial support in grievances and collective bargaining.

(3) This Fall, we will begin bargaining for our three collective agreements, which expired on August 31, 2025. This means your current working conditions are frozen until an agreement is reached or a labour dispute, like a strike or lockout, occurs.

(4) We also anticipate moving into our new offices this Fall, and we’ll keep you updated on the official date.

(5) Our recent affiliation with the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) has been invaluable, providing us with vital resources and expertise for bargaining and beyond.
