Since 1996, the Association has presented an award for teaching excellence to members who have distinguished themselves throughout the previous academic year.
A $2,500 scholarship is presented to the winner at the official award ceremony.
For the year 2025, given the significant number of applications and especially considering the quality of the submitted files, the APTPUO Awards Committee decided to award the prize to two members who stood out.
We are pleased to introduce the two recipients of the 2025 Part-Time Professor of the Year Award, our colleagues, Shari Orders, professor in the Faculty of Education, and Emilie Bernier, professor in the School of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences.
Join us on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 4 p.m. (Eastern time) in Room DMS 12102 for the presentation of the Part-Time Professor of the Year Award and to celebrate the excellence of the recipients.
