The Association of Teaching Professors of the University of Ottawa (ATPUO) invites you to attend a Special General Membership Meeting (SGMM). This meeting will provide an update on bargaining and include a strike vote.
The venue and the Zoom link will be confirmed based on your registration.
A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. to members attending the Meeting in person. Please register in advance so we can be sure there’s plenty of food for everyone!
For those wishing to participate virtually, please read the registration instructions carefully. The instructions in place are essential to ensure the integrity of the votes. Failure to comply with these rules may prevent you from taking part in the SGMM.
TO ATTEND THE MEETING
You can attend the Meeting in person or online.
A buffet will be served to those who register to attend the meeting in person before 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026. After this date, you can still register, but we will not be able to guarantee your access to the buffet.
If you wish to take part in the meeting online, you must complete your registration before 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026. No registrations will be accepted after this date, barring exceptional circumstances.
Please follow the instructions carefully when registering. Once your registration is complete, an office staff member will review it within one to two working days and send you an email confirmation with the relevant information to attend the SGMM in person or by videoconference.
Why do I have to register in advance?
To participate, you must register in advance. This step is particularly important to enable us to confirm that you are a member in good standing and, consequently, we are able to guarantee the integrity of the votes. Thanks to your registration, we will be able to provide sufficient food for members attending in person and ensure technical support for members participating online.
When your registration is complete, an email with details of the Meeting will be sent to you.
